Tan Chia Qian

Hello! I’m Tan Chia Qian, a second-year Computer Science PhD student at the National University of Singapore (NUS). My research focuses on visual computing, particularly Gaussian Splatting-based representations for efficient and high-fidelity modeling of visual content.

I am currently exploring hybrid Gaussian representations for dynamic scenes, videos, and 3D/4D visual data, with an emphasis on improving the trade-off between rendering quality, compactness, and temporal consistency. More broadly, I am interested in developing scalable visual representation methods that bridge computer vision, computer graphics, and neural rendering.
