Tan Chia Qian
Hello! I’m Tan Chia Qian, a second-year Computer Science PhD candidate at the National University of Singapore (NUS), where I am advised by Prof. Ooi Wei Tsang. I also received my Bachelor of Computing in Computer Science from NUS in 2023.
My research focuses on dynamic scene representation and compression for 2D and 3D visual content. In particular, I am interested in Gaussian Splatting-based representations that balance rendering quality, compactness, and temporal consistency, with applications in efficient rendering and compression.
